Board Nominees


At Torrance Community Credit Union, our strength comes from the active involvement and leadership of our members. As a member-owned financial cooperative, we rely on dedicated individuals to help guide our mission, ensure sound governance, and support the financial well-being of our membership.

We are currently seeking interested and qualified members to serve on our Board of Directors. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute your skills, experience, and perspective to help shape the future of our Credit Union. We have one (1) open position on the board for a 3-year term.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Board Members include:

  • Representing the best interests of all members

  • Attending regular board and committee meetings

  • Establishing policies and strategic direction

  • Overseeing financial performance and regulatory compliance


Ideal Candidates

Ideal candidates will:

  • Be a member in good standing with the Credit Union

  • Demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, and commitment

  • Have experience in areas such as finance, business, governance, public relations, or community leadership (preferred but not required)

  • Be willing to dedicate time for meetings, training, and preparation

If you are interested in being considered, you are encouraged to submit your application along with a short biography on or before June 24, 2026. 

Your information will be reviewed by the nominating committee, and you will be contacted following the committee’s decision.
