At Torrance Community Credit Union, our strength comes from the active involvement and leadership of our members. As a member-owned financial cooperative, we rely on dedicated individuals to help guide our mission, ensure sound governance, and support the financial well-being of our membership.
We are currently seeking interested and qualified members to serve on our Board of Directors. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute your skills, experience, and perspective to help shape the future of our Credit Union. We have one (1) open position on the board for a 3-year term.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of Board Members include:
Representing the best interests of all members
Attending regular board and committee meetings
Establishing policies and strategic direction
Overseeing financial performance and regulatory compliance
Ideal Candidates
Ideal candidates will:
Be a member in good standing with the Credit Union
Demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, and commitment
Have experience in areas such as finance, business, governance, public relations, or community leadership (preferred but not required)
Be willing to dedicate time for meetings, training, and preparation
If you are interested in being considered, you are encouraged to submit your application along with a short biography on or before June 24, 2026.
Your information will be reviewed by the nominating committee, and you will be contacted following the committee’s decision.
